The Third National Theater Festival ‘Alfaaz 2015’ concluded today with mesmerizing performance of Vibha Rani in play ‘Bimb Pratibimb’ directed by Bombay Kannan.

The theater festival is organized by Natyansh Society of Dramatic & Performing Arts in association with Hindustan Zinc Ltd.

The play was based on real life story of two women and reflected the age-old customs of the society and how these affect the support system one gets from the family. The play was a satire on the double standards of the societal benefactors and was portrayed through poetic verses.

The music was given by Shubham Desai and directed by Rajendra Joshi. This play revealed layers of education, society and soul of a woman.

Besides the plays, Alfaaz hosted painting & photography competition which was judged by Prof Meena Baya, Charu Goyal, Kiran Murdia and Rajdeep Rakesh, Rishabh Jain, Claude D’Souza respectively. The winners of painting competition were Shavil Bhargava, Ashna Asnani and Bhoomi Mahavar (Junior) and Shubham Sanadhya and Snigdha Jain (Senior).

Photography competition winners were Shucheta das, Devashish Mukherjee and Santoshi Verma. In both the competitions, the winners and 1^st runner up received Rs. 1000 and Rs. 500 respectively.
