'Ye Shaam Mastani': Amit Kumar & Muktika to Perform in Udaipur on Nov 12
Organised by Indira Enterprise, Kashti Foundation and USM Group; Amit Kumar and Muktika to pay tribute to the legacy of Kishore Kumar
Udaipur, Nov 10, 2025 - The son and granddaughter of legendary singer Kishore Kumar — Amit Kumar and Muktika Ganguly — will set Udaipur alive with a soulful musical evening on November 12. The concert, titled Ye Shaam Mastani – Amit Kumar Live in Concert, will be held at Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandal and is organised by Indira Enterprise, Kashti Foundation and USM Group.
Kashti Foundation’s founder Shraddha Mudiya informed that entry to the event will be by invitation only and free.
This special concert is being organised on the occasion of Dr Ajay Murdia’s 73rd birthday. Dr Murdia, widely known as the pioneer of IVF treatment and now an acclaimed film producer, has been actively supporting music and culture in Udaipur.
The event’s creative theme has been designed by Nautiz Braddha, Kshitij Aastha Mudiya.
For several years, Kashti Foundation has been dedicated to nurturing education and art in Udaipur. Continuing its mission, this concert will also provide a platform for local artists, including Gaurav Medtwal, Ankit Chauhan, Komal Barhat, violinist Kanishka Verma, Divyansh Sharma, Kartik Sompura, Bhavesh Vairagi, Yuvaraj and Mandeep.
The Ultimate Soul of Music (USM) Group will also perform at the event. The event will take off with performances by the USM Group before Amit Kumar and Muktika come on stage. Muktika is expected to be one of the highlights of the evening. The duo will pay tribute to the musical legacy of Kishore Kumar.
Dr Murdia mentioned that Indira Murdia had a deep love for music. To honour her memory, Indira Enterprise has previously organised notable music evenings, including performances by Padma Shri Anup Jalota and lyricist Sameer Anjaan in 2024, and a special concert in March 2025 under Indira Swarangam, featuring Suresh Wadekar in Sur, Saaz aur Wadekar and filmmaker Vikram Bhatt’s Bhatt Music Virasat.
