Natyansh, the theatre organization has come up with a new initiative Alfaaz to create social awareness on the leading issues. Alfaaz is an effort which will portray plays on various topics.

‘Astitva’ is one such play to showcase the status of women in Indian society. The solo play was performed today at Maharana Kumbha Sangeet Parishad by the theater artist Rekha Sisoda.

‘Astitva’ depicts Women’s Status

Astitva is a plight of one such girl who has been dominated by males at different stages in her life. It’s a story that shows her fight to establish self identity. The play is a predicament of women in the past and reflects the status of women in present and dramatizes the complexities of the social setup.

WOMEN, the creator of life after the almighty who is sadly treated like a no one in our society. Although women today are self dependent, who have created milestones but still there are many underprivileged girls who are deprived of their rights.

Astitva is an exhortation to the society to shed the old age prejudice against women and opt for a progressive outlook.
