On the auspicious festive occasion of Basant Panchami today, many communities of Udaipur organized mass wedding ceremony where nearly 123 couples tied the knot.

Community mass wedding events spanned from morning till late afternoon. State Minister Gulab Chand Kataria attended most of the weddings and blessed the couples for their future.

Following were the events by communities –

 – Shree Medh Kshatriya Swarnkar Samaj organized Mass wedding at Railway training ground where 31 couples got married.

– 24 couples got married at Sector-4, Vidyaniketa premises, where the event was organized by Jhulelal Seva Samiti .

– Rajput Mahasabha hosted mass wedding ceremony at Hemraj Vyayamshala, where 7 couples tied the knot.

– 16 couples tied knot in mass wedding organized by Sarvvargiya Kala Sangini Mahila Mandal Udaipur at Sanwaliya Garden, University Road.

– Akhil Bhartiya Rajput Mahasabha Sansthan, Bisajan Mata organized event at Bisajan Mata Mandir, Shikarbadi Road, where 19 couples got married.

– 12 couples shared vows at Town Hall premises, where the mass wedding was organized by Tailik Sahu Samaj.

– 9 couples of Purbiya Community tied knot at Sanwariya Garden, University Road where Purbiya Samaj Ogana organized the event.

– Khshatriya Rawat Vari Samaj organized mass wedding at Naiyon Ki Talai where 5 couples shared vows.
