Battle Axe Division organizes Cycle Safari

The Battle Axe Division of the Indian Army organized a unique cycle safari in which 3 officers of the army and 30 soldiers participated. The safari commenced from Eklingarh Military Station on Monday after flag off by Brigadier, Station Commander.

The Battle Axe Division of the Indian Army organized a unique cycle safari in which 3 officers of the army and 30 soldiers participated. The safari commenced from Eklingarh Military Station on Monday after flag off by Brigadier, Station Commander.

In the safari, 36 brave soldiers of the Battle Axe Division will cover a distance of 850 Km in 10 days covering Udaipur, Jaisamand, Chittor, Rajsamand, Bheem, Haldighati, Kumbhalgarh and Gogunda on bicycles. The safari will conclude in Udaipur on 26th March.

Officers informed that the cycle safari is aimed to acquaint with the former soldiers residing in Mewar region, attract young ones to the army and spread message of social issues such as ‘Swach Bharat’, women empowerment and save girl child etc.
