Hey nature and wildlife lovers! It’s time to buck up. Forest Department has announced the dates of wild life census. The training would be on Thursday, April 28 from 10.30 am – 11:30 am at Aranya Kutir Guest House, Forest Department, Badi Road, Udaipur.

Become a Nature Lover! Participate in the WorkshopThis one hour exclusive training would be providing tons of knowledge and information about nature & wildlife to all those who are interested in knowing. The training would be useful in identifying the critical things about Wildlife. For more details contact Dr. N.C Jain, ncjain1986@gmail.com, 9414370941.

“We would make people understand the essence of wildlife and nature by slideshows & photos. We will show them how to distinguish between various foot prints of animals and identify the particular ones.” N.C. Jain (Chief Conservative Officer of Forest Department) said.

The wildlife census will be conducted on 17th May, 2011 this year on Purnima (full moon night). This training is being conducted for this census, however, by merely attending the training workshop, it does not make them qualified to attend the census program. The suitable willing candidates will be selected after the training.

“The reason behind conducting the census in full moon night is that every single animal comes to the pond to drink water at night, as it is summer time. & full moon night helps in identifying the animals.” N.C.Jain disclosed.

So to benefit from an opportunity for learning about nature and enjoying the nature trekking, one can atleast go and increase their knowledge about nature & wildlife, which are inseparable part of our life. The extinction of wildlife and nature would lead us to a disaster.

It’s a call to all those who love and care for nature and its conservation. Nature gives us many things. Let’s do something for Nature.
