In the three days Mewar Festival starting from 25^th March which is a joint initiative by Tourism Department and district administration, the best Gangaur will receive a cash prize after the procession in which many communities participate. The prize will be given by Department of Tourism.

Asst. Director, Dileep Singh Rathore has informed that the best Gangaur will be decided at Jagdish Chowk by a team of judges. The first prize is Rs.11000, the second prize is Rs.7000 and the third prize is Rs. 5000. All the prizes are sponsored by R.K. Marble and the winners will be honored in a function at Lok Kala Mandal on 26^th March.

Traditional artists from Rajasthan and Gujarat will perform various dances and songs in the cultural evening at Lok Kala Mandal on 26^th March. The program also consists of a special competition for foreigners titled “The Best Rajasthani Dressed Foreign Couple”. The winners of the competition will get lunch/dinner coupon for Hotel Taj Lake Palace, Hotel Leela Palace Kempinski and Hotel Lalit Laxmi Vilas.

A three day cultural program from 25^th to 27^th March is also scheduled in Gogunda which will be organized by Department of Tourism.
