Second day of Maharana Kumbha Sangeet Samaroh being organized by Maharana Sangeet Parishad witnessed performances on Classical singing, Bagheshwari, Thumri, Gazal and Bharatnatyam.

The inaugural session was led by Pt. Ajay Pohankar, who mesmerized the audience with his Raag Bageshwari and his classical singing. He also played Tabla and performed a duet with his brother Abhijeet Pohankar who played keyboard.

Pt. Ajay was also honored by MN Mathur award, which was given by Chief Guest Dinesh Chandra Mamgen, Managing Director, SBI. Also, in the inaugural session, Mayor Chandra Singh Kothari praised the efforts by the organization of Maharana Sangeet Parishad to bring forward the classical music.

The second session of the event was highlighted with the performances of well-known dance artist Devyani and her troop. The performance on Bharatnatyam wooed the audience. Devyani sketched many stories with her performances, for which audience applauded whole heartedly.
