Well known stand-up comedians Bharti Singh and Kapil Sharma reached Udaipur today to perform in the Laughter Night program at Municipal Council’s Dussehra-Deepawali Fair ongoing at Town Hall ground.

A press conference was organized at Hotel Inder Residency, where both artists addressed local media and shared their experiences.

Bharti said that stand-up comedy is not that easy as it seems to be, it needs lot of hard efforts to create comedy, Bharti introduced Kapil Sharma to media personnel mentioning, “he is my University classmate and we both have good on stage chemistry; I find comfortable working with Kapil”.

While talking with media regarding opportunities in Bollywood, Kapil Sharma said that if he gets some good offer then we will surely do it. “Some offers were rolled out lately but were not up to my expectations”, told Kapil. He said Udaipur is a very beautiful place and is one of my favorite destinations.

Both Kapil and Bharti agreed to the fact that in small cities talents are hidden, but if these talents get a platform to perform they can make their mark and reach to International levels.

Kapil who grabbed fame from “The Great Indian Laughter Challenge” said that some artists use vulgar language and gain cheap popularity, but that is just temporary and some day they lose their ground as audience reject them.

Narrating her experience in dance show “Jhalak Dikhlaja” Bharti told that she enjoyed dancing, as the dancing and comedy are two different parts of her life and Punjabi people love good food and music and enjoy dancing a lot.

She told, “I enjoyed Dancing in Jhalak Dikla Ja and my choreographer supported me a lot”.

On the question of her weight, she answered, “It’s very easy to lift healthy women, but it needs a technique”, she concluded on laughing note.
