Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Jayanti was celebrated in a form of a procession in the city. A large group of people gathered at Court Chouraha and offered flowers on the statue of Dr. Bhimrao Amebedkar, Chairman of the Constitution Drafting Committee.

Procession led horses and decorated tableaus passed through main city areas. Followers of Bhimrao Ambedkar were holding banners with the quotes said by Ambedkar.

A rally was also organized by the ST-SC Student Union of Shramjeevi College, followed by an addressing ceremony in the college campus.
