Bird Fair: Several Competitions for Students

T Mohanraj senior official of Forest Dpeartment informed that on the first day Jungle Safari will be held near Pichola Lake where after bird watching from morning 8 to 12, school students can participate in the painting and English quiz competition for students of class 8th and 9th and 10th and 12th.
Second and Third round will be held at Rajasthan College of Agriculture where lectures on “Importance of Local Participation in Conversation of Threatened and Migratory Bird Species” and “Conversation Beyond Tiger: A Need for Paradigm Gift” will be done by Dr Deepak Apte and Dr Asad.R. Rehamani .
On 23rd Jan all participants will be divided into two groups and will be taken to bird watching near lakes and water bodies, thereafter a cultural program is going to be held at RCA Auditorium followed by prize distribution ceremony.
For drawing and painting competition, participating students will get topic on the spot while quiz competition will be based on environment, natural heritage, natural habitat etc. 50 students of each schools are allowed to take part in Bird Fair.
