It is time to hear the music of the flapping wings and January is not far anymore. The Bird Fest begins on 9th January and you can enjoy a variety of species until the 12th of January. 

The bird fest which is being carried out in Udaipur since the last 6 years is here again. All steps are being taken to establish Udaipur as the best bird watching destination.

The Bird Fest will be inaugurated in the Jungle Safari Park. The aim of this Bird fest is to make the people aware of the bio-diversity of Mewar-Vagad regions.

As informed by one of the representatives, 9th January is bird-race day. Teams from Banswara, Dungarpur, Chittorgarh, Rajsamand and Pratapgarh will participate in this bird-race. The participants will make list of the birds in the area and the one preparing the best list of bird species or the one having the highest number of birds on their list will be awarded.
