Bird Watching activity for Nature Lovers by Forest & Wildlife Dept.
In order to bring people close to the nature, various programs have been run by Forest Department for past 3 days, such as Bird Watching trips to Wolkem Park on 3rd Jan., to Sanjay Gandhi Park on 4th Jan. and to Roop Sagar today on 5th Jan.

The event was attended by students of St. Gregorious, St. Mary’s, Central Academy, Witty, MMPS, Pacific University, BN College and other nature enthusiasts.
Continuing with the Bird Watching program, tomorrow the group will visit Sanajy Gandhi Park from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM.
In the visits, Dr. NC Jain, Dr. R.K. Garg, Deependra Singh Shekhawat, Vinay Dave, Deepak Saini and other shared their knowledge about Birds and their habitation.
Students or any Nature lover can Participate free of cost in the programme. This programme will be helpful in Quiz and Other competitions to be organized on the upcoming Wetland Day (2nd Feb, 2013).
For exposing to the issues of ecosystem balance, a two days trip to Natural spots & Wetlands in Ghasa, Bhatevar, Bathera, Mangalwad region will be organized for students of 9th class and onwards by Wildlife wing Udaipur in collaboration with various organizations.
The cost of approx. 500/- per student for lodging, boarding and transportation will be borne by Dept. of Sci. & Technology. However, each participant will have to make contribution of Rs. 50/-.
The selection of students will be done through On-the-Spot-Quiz on 9 Jan. 2013 (4 P.M.-5 P.M.) at Wolkem Park, near Swaroop sagar, Udaipur.
