BITSians' Day 2021 was celebrated by the BITSians of Udaipur with full vigor, on 7 Aug 2021, in the premises of Techno India NJR Institute of Technology.

BITSAA Udaipur Chapter is the BITS Alumni Association, to which all pass outs of BITS Pilani from 1970s to 2021 are associated.

Techno NJR's Founder and Director and the event's chairperson Raj Shekhar Vyas told that the event was graced by many eminent personalities of Udaipur including Pratap Talesra from Pyrotech, Komal Kothari from RK Mall and UCCI, Subhash Singhvi from Sachin Motors, Pradeep Gupta from Deepchem Enterprises, Manoj Agarwal from E-Connect, Deepak Sharma from Indian Army, Ranjan Shukla from SSA, Shrihari Honwad from SPSU along with many other BITSians who are either entrepreneurs or working with eminent organizations across the globe. Few members joined in the meeting virtually over zoom as well, including Lalt Yagnik, A. S Chondawat, Aniruddh Singh, Dr Pankaj Porwal and others.

The dignitaries in the event also participated in the book launch of "Lockdown Diaries- It's time to Awaken" written by a fellow BITSian and BITSAA member, Sonia Keswani.

Sonia said, this book came out as a result of consistent writing in the Lockdown duration and contains a series of positive notes and motivation to keep looking for good even in tough times. The book launch was followed by a small book reading session too. The book is available on Amazon, Flipkart and Notionpress.

Members of BITSAA Udaipur celebrated the #BITSiansDay2021 by cutting a cake and launching sky lanterns for the historical winning of Gold Medal in Tokyo Olympics by India's Neeraj Chopra.

The event was followed by a gala dinner, where BITSians'  talked about the old memories of their BITS days and expressed their views for a brighter future of the city and their contribution towards the same.
