Around 20 students participated in the inter district debate competition on the topic “Censorship on Social Media is Essential”.

Vijay Lakhara of BNPG was awarded first prize, whereas Diksha Gupta, BN Pharmacy and Ganesh Kumar, SPU College Falna received second and third prize consecutively. Other winners from different categories are Suman Rathod and Amar Singh Rathod.

BN PG College received the highest points followed by Chal Vejyanti and BNPG Girls College in second and third place respectively.

All Rajasthan Hindi Debate Competition was organized by BNPG College in the memory of Rao Bahadur Thakur Rajsingh Bedla.

Participants had put forth their opinions on the role of Social Media which has become an essential part of life. Both negative and positive aspects of social media were well talked by the participants who came from different districts around Udaipur.

Chief Guest of the program was Prem Singh Chundawat, Vice President, Vidya Pracharini Sabha. In his short address Prem Singh Chundawat said that “There is no doubt that social media connects the society, the only need is to use it optimistically.”

The competition was judged by Pradeep Kumar, Varun Bhansali and Dr. Manoj Rajguru (journalists Zee News)
