BNI Amethyst, the second BNI Chapter in Udaipur celebrated its transition to Platinum Chapter today with a MEGA VISITOR DAY at their weekly meet held at Hotel Radisson Green in Udaipur.  Armed with superlative enthusiasm, coordination and passion, the LT team members of BNI Amethyst began this weeks proceedings with a flamboyance that marks the BNI DNA across the globe.

A record 68 chairs were occupied today at the weekly meet of BNI Amethyst that was planned as a Mega Visitor Day.  28 visitors from various categories, included participation from the Chairman and CEO of a local Cooperative Bank and the Chief Manager of a nationalised Bank.  Members had also showcased their products in the meet and participants in the meet took interest in the products on display.

BNI is transforming the way Udaipur does business, both within the city locally as well as outside the city – both national and international.  “The amount of exposure I have obtained in the last 9 months of being associated with BNI has taken my business to a new level that I had not imagined” – said Darshan Doshi, who is into semi precious stone inlay products manufacturing.

As members made it a point to assemble at the venue along with their visitors early in the day beginning at 7:30AM, honoring the BNI protocol, the activity on premises was filled with motivated faces of members and expectation filled visitors, who took in the positive energy present early in the morning.

The meet began with the President of BNI Amethyst, Udaipur – Kshitij Kumbhat taking the crease as the opener, with Secretary Sunil Galundia and Vice President Deepak Chugh flanking him. Regional Director Anil Chhajerh was also present to take in the proceedings of the Mega Visitor Day as well celebrations of the chapter attaining Platinum status with 50+ members.

One of the members of BNI Amethyst, Siddharth Chaudhary, who runs a food grade raw material processing unit in Udaipur – in his message to the forum, said that he has learnt new lessons on passion to do business and the importance of punctuality through the structured BNI system.  More importantly, he added, BNI has provided him and opportunity to meet and enjoy the company of people.

Subsequent to the regulation presentation of the meeting and welcoming the visitors, Kshitij announced the induction of two new members in BNI Amethyst – Ashish Jha (Electrical category) and Abhimanyu Singh Karot (Elevators Category).  Members were called upon to deliver their customary 30 second introduction as well as welcoming and introducing their visitor guests to the event.

Anil Chhajerh, Regional Director of BNI Udaipur, in his short message specifically to the visitors, made it a point to highlight the importance of business relations and the moral responsibility of passing on business deals and references to co-members.

This was followed by feature presentations by Nikhar Category (Food Products) and Kapil Surana (Stone Engineering).  While Nikhar explained his fruit products processing business and showcased some unique food products including the Fruit Samosa, Kapil took the members understanding and perception of stone engineer to a different level, explaining brain child innovative stone engineering processes and the dry wall cladding processes incorporated by his firm.  Kapil then presented a memento to the Regional Director of BNI Udaipur for achieving Platinum status for BNI Amethyst.

The feature presentations were followed by TYFCB (Thank You For Closed Business notes), which totaled to Rs. 32 Lakh.  91 referrals were passed today as members took the opportunity to give their referrals on the ASK given by co-members.

Members then celebrated the transition of BNI Amethyst to Platinum Chapter with a cake cutting ceremony.

President of BNI Amethyst Kshitij Kumbhat also thanked members of the BNI Pearl chapter, Kunal, Ashish and Archana for attending the BNI Amethyst Mega Visitor Day meet.
