On second consecutive day of Mewar Festival celebration various activities were organized, where in the morning session a Boat race was held at Fateh Sagar Lake. In the evening ‘Best Rajasthani Dressed’ competition was organized at Gangaur Ghat, near Pichola Lake.

In first session at Fateh Sagar, various troops of NCC (National Cadet Corps) Naval Wing participated in a boat race. The race of 200 meter was held between all 6 troops from 1Raj Naval Udaipur who paddled across the distance. The race was won by cadets of Bhopal Nobles College.

According to Sumita Saroch, Chief Director, Department of Tourism, “Series of event continued till evening session at Gangaur Ghat, where ‘Best Rajasthani Dressed’ competition was organized among foreign guests. Winners were awarded with a complimentary dinner in luxurious hotels of Udaipur.”

Saroch further added that on last day of this three day event, a Kite Show will be organized at Fateh Sagar Lake between 11 to 7 pm. Consecutively a Horse Show will also be held at Gandhi Ground starting from 11 am and will continue till 4 pm.

“Apart from these, a tribal group will give cultural performances at Nehru Garden between 4 to 6 pm, while the whole event will conclude with Mr. & Ms. Mewar Competition at Fateh Sagar”, added Sumita Saroch.
