On the occasion of the 475^th birthday of Maharana Pratap, the citizens of Udaipur and tourists will be able to witness broad roads, grand atrium and towering massive statue of the legendary icon- Pratap at Moti Magri.

President of Maharana Mewar Smarak Samiti Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar monitored the renovation work. He said that the entry road to Moti Magri has been widened to 30 feet as against 12 feet previously for easy movement of traffic. Also, the fountain in front of the statue has been removed providing a wide open area which is 140×100 sq ft.

He further added that during the renovation work, no flora was affected; as some were transplanted. The fountains were repaired and restored. With police and ambulance services, the place is also equipped with proper water cooler facility.

Secretary Yudhveer Singh Shaktawat said that the tourists visiting Moti Magri from 20^th to 22^nd May at morning 7 AM to 7 PM will be given free entry with no entry of vehicles. The statue of Maharana Pratap will be garlanded on Wednesday at 5.30 PM with performances by Amry Band, Police Band, Bohra Band, Palace Band and Maharana Mewar School Band from 6.30 to 9 PM.
