Udaipur, March 8, 2025 -  Yesterday, on the eve of International Women's Day, the CAIT Women Wing of Udaipur organised the CAIT Icon Award event at the Ashok Green Hotel in Udaipur.

CAIT Women Wing president Vijaylaxmi Galundia shared that the Chief Guest for the event was Shweta Dubey, CEO and co-founder of Ushan Business Private Limited. The event was chaired by Deputy Superintendent of Police Chetna Bhati. Special guests were Chief Executive Officer of Udaipur Zila Parishad Ria Dabi and Deputy Director of the Tourism Department Shikha Saxena attended as special guests.

Galundia informed that the programme was organised to recognise and honour women entrepreneurs, businesswomen, administrative officers, social workers, educators and women contributing to various sectors.

More than 200 women were felicitated at the event for their exceptional achievements in various fields. The awards aimed to acknowledge the struggles, hard work and accomplishments of women who have made their mark on their own.
