Patrons of the Hiran Magri located Pantecoastal Church have begun their Christmas celebrations with gusto.  Carol singing  announced the start to the celebration for this community in Hiran Magri. The program kicked off at the Durga Park in Hiran Magri Sector 5 on Tuesday 20th Dec. with an opening prayer followed by some wonderful carols sung by the Church Choir – viz. “Purab Disha Se Tara”; “Suna Charwayo Ne” “Di Awaz Farishto Ne”;  “Hark the Herald”; “Feliz Navidad” and many more. Two choreographed dance items, one performed by the young girls of the Church depicted the love of Jesus for the children of God and the other by young boys, illustrating how the young generation of today indulging in dreadful habits was being rescued by Jesus – through a song, “Set Me Free”. The Christmas message given by the Pastor (Dr.) Paul T. Mathews was all about why Jesus was born in this world and how He could bring happiness and peace in our lives. The program ended with a vote of thanks by Paul Varghese.  Some more outdoor programs were scheduled in various parts of the city.
