Ashoka Group and Rotary Club Udai organized the first Ashoka Cine & Theater Awards at Ashoka Palace in which artists from theater field and cinema were honored.

The chief guests of the event were Mayor Chandra Singh Kothari, Nirmal Singhvi, Aishwarya College’s MD Seema Sing and NICC’s Dr. Sweety Chabbra.

The personalities who were honored at the event were Censor Board Member Ashok Banthia, Ghazal singer Dr. Prem Bhandari, Abha Bhatnagar Roy, Mahesh Nayak, Dr. Pradeep Kumawat, Director of short film ‘Kanche & Postcard’ Rhythm Janve, Vilas Janve, Rahul Rajmali, Jitendra Bhatt, Vijaylal Gurjar, Sushil Audichya, Nandita Purohit, Neetu Kachara, Sohan Suhalka, Farhat Pachisa, Mumtaz Lohawala and Vijay Singh Panwar, etc.

The team members of the Maharana Pratap movie, the cast and production members were appreciated for their work and awarded.

Young artists including Sangeeta Taneja, Divij Sukhwani, Mohammad Sahil, Mohan, Bhawani, Deepak Dikshit, Vishakha Mehta, Amit Shrimali, Leela Doshi and Upendra Vyas etc. were honored.

Program coordinator Mukesh Madhwani informed that short film ‘Kanche & Postcard’ was screened at the event. Also, the performance from International Kathak danseuse Abha Bhatnagar spellbound all. The event was primarily supported by Rukmani Foundation.
