Despite of heavy rainfall, 110 people went for cycling in Harawal monsoon marathon including 7 foreigners. It started from Suchna Kendra at 6 AM and went through Saheli Road, Badi , Sisarma and ended at Dudh Talai that estimated around 30 Km.

The route had two check points where people were served healthy refreshments. It was a zero waste event and no plastic was used. An emergency team was there with medical and cycle repair facility.

The motive behind the marathon was not any competition but to explore the beauty of nature around city and to make new friends. The organizer Manish Katariya shared his dream to make Udaipur a cycle city and has been organizing such marathons in every season since last four years. The support of local administration was also remarkable in safety of participants.
