Classical Dance & Music Festival 2026 in Udaipur on April 26-27

Udaipur, March 23, 2026 - The poster for the 6th International Classical Dance & Music Festival, scheduled to be held in Udaipur on April 26 and 27, was unveiled in Jaipur by Colonel Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore, Rajasthan Cabinet Minister of Industries, Commerce & Sports. The festival is being organised under the aegis of Kathak Ashram Udaipur and All India Dancers Association (AIDA).
Colonel Rathore extended his best wishes for the event and welcomed artists from across the country to Udaipur. Present on the occasion were Kathak Ashram Director Chandrakala Chaudhary, co-organiser Glory Events Director Kanishka Shrimali, along with other festival representatives including Kunthal Joshi and Pradeep Rvani.
Chaudhary informed that the festival will commence on the morning of April 26, featuring classical dance and music performances throughout the day, along with special evening performances.

- Tamanna Nair (Mumbai) – Bharatanatyam
- Srishti Bhasin (Jabalpur) – Kathak
- Priyanshi & Group – Kathak (Shiv Aradhana theme)
- Amrit Sinha (Lucknow) – Bharatanatyam
April 27 Evening Performances
- Dr G Rathish Babu (Raipur) – Kuchipudi
- Richa Gupta (Delhi) – Kathak (Ghazal-based)
- Rajshree Das (Bengaluru) – Bharatanatyam
- Sejal Group – Kathak (Krishna theme)
AIDA representative Ritesh Babu shared that during last year’s fifth edition held in January, more than 600 artists delivered 320 performances across four days, setting a remarkable benchmark. Building on previous years’ success, this year too, the festival is expected to be grand and several ministers and dignitaries are likely to attend.
