CM Raje unveils Vivekananda Statue, inaugurates Vibhuti Park
Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje unveiled the statue of Swami Vivekananda at the shore of Lake Fatehsagar and also inaugurated the Vibhuti Park on lake’s paal side.

The bronze statue is 10 feet long and weighs 1850 kilogram. The statue is installed near Circuit House in an under construction park.
Mayor Rajni Dangi who was accompanying CM introduced her new de-weeding machine for cleaning of lakes.
After unveiling the monument, CM Raje inaugurated the Vibhuti Park, constructed opposite to Fateh Sagar Paal. She also unveiled the Paal Beautification project and visited the flower show.
Urban Improvement Trust (UIT) spent Rs.20.70 Crores for Lake Fatehsagar and beautification of paal under National Lake Conservation Program.
Raje said, “The administration will develop Udaipur with more facilities and attractions for tourists.”
She added, “Udaipur is an example for other cities of Rajasthan including Jodhpur, Ajmer and Bikaner and soon collectors of all these cities will be asked to visit Udaipur to know about the beautification projects going on here.”
Gulabchand Kataria (Minister for tribal development and Panchayati raj), Phool Singh Meena (MLA), Rajni Dangi (Mayor), Vaibhav Galaria (Div. Commissioner), Ashutosh Pednekar (District Collector), Ajaypal Singh Lamba (Police Superintendent), all local corporators, political leaders and social workers were present on the occasion.
State Minister Gulabchand Kataria said, “A monument of Maharana Fateh Singh, founder of Lake Fatehsagar is also proposed to be installed near the lake. Besides this, statues of other prominent personalities of Mewar will be kept in Vibhuti Park.”
