Traditional custom of Dhoond was celebrated on the day of Holi at various places in Udaipur. The decades old custom is specially meant for newly born babies and infants who are less than 12 months old.

This Holi, Dhoond was celebrated in community gatherings as well as in individual families where babies were born in last 12 months.
Suhalka community celebrated Dhoond of 12 babies in the community hall located at sector-4 Hiran Magri. The program also consisted of games and competitions played by women and children of the community.
Dhoond festival was also marked at Mother Teresa house for infants. Nirmal Kunawat, member of advisory board and Manju Verma, Chairperson of CWC were also present on the occasion.
