A two-day National Conference on ‘Integration of Engineering with Environment Development and Sustainability’ is being organised under the banner of Faculty of Engineering, Pacific University. Around 40 research papers on technological advancements were read by various experts today.
Today, on the first day of the National Conference R. N. Mathur, MD of BSNL, while addressing the audience in the first session of the day mentioned that telecom sector of Udaipur has done a remarkable job by connecting non-commercial consumers through Optical Fibre Technology. In the same session, Prof. N. S. Rathod, Dean, CTAE laid an emphasis on new resources for Energy Generation.
According to Kapil Verma, PRO, Pacific University, research papers of around 40 experts were read in general technical session to boost the knowledge of audience, while in other technical sessions Prof. Sharma briefly discussed on problems commonly faced in construction of Houses, including cracks in walls and rusting of Steel etc.; he also gave remedial steps to be taken to check such problems.
“This conference could be a trend setter of sorts, if all the discussions from the technical sessions are implemented in the real world”, said Prof. R. Aron (Dean, College of Engineering Pacific University).
