Countdown Begins for Year End Fest at Shilpgram
The Rural Arts and Craft Complex, better known as Shilpgram, at Udaipur has started preparing for its yearly fest ‘Shilpgram Utsav-2012’; organized by West Zone Culture Centre (WZCC) the preparations for annual fest from 21-30th December has already begun.
The Rural Arts and Craft Complex, better known as Shilpgram, at Udaipur has started preparing for its yearly fest ‘Shilpgram Utsav-2012’; organized by West Zone Culture Centre (WZCC) the preparations for annual fest from 21-30th December has already begun.
Alike every year, this fair would be inaugurated by current Governor of Rajasthan State, Margret Alwa on 21st Dec. The fair will showcase art work of various States of India, along with the cultural events, scheduled every evening.
In preparation phase, repair works of 31 representative huts of all the member States has started at Shilpgram. Thereafter, lighting and decoration of complex will be carried out.
“Invitation for the annual fair has already been forwarded to all the States; a precise event chart is yet to be prepared soon”, said Shailendra Dashora, Director, WZCC.
