The Central Public School (CPS) at Bhopalpura organized a grand function celebrating the two important festivals of Diwali and Eid on October 27th, 2010. This festivity ran from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. within the school campus, thereby making it a memorable morning for the school kids.

 

The Central Public School (CPS) at Bhopalpura organized a grand function celebrating the two important festivals of Diwali and Eid on October 27th, 2010. This festivity ran from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. within the school campus, thereby making it a memorable morning for the school kids.

This bright and effervescent event was attended not only by the enormous talent of the school and the teachers but also by some noteworthy personalities.

The honourable judges for the events were Mrs. Jyoti Lekhari, Cultural secretary of Anupam Mahila Club, Mrs. Meenu Jain, Secretary of Anupam Mahila Club and Mrs. Asha Khaturiya, Former President Rotary Inner Wheel and an active member of Anupam Mahila Club.

Other dignitaries were the Chief Guest for the occasion, Miss Ruchi Singh, Incharge /Coordinator of International Studies in B.N College, Mrs. Alka Sharma, Founder of CPS, and Mrs. Zehra Ali, the honorable Principal of CPS.

This special Diwali-Eid celebration saw events like Dance competition,Competition for Best Dressed Boy and Girl, Pooja Thali Decoration Competition and a pleasant surprise in the form of Dance performance by the reputable teachers of CPS. Without a doubt, the latter was the one that took maximum applause!

To make this exciting event even more interesting the winners of the Best Dressed Boy and the Best Dressed Girl were titled Deepawali King and Deepawali Queen, respectively. While the Deepawali King title was won by Lovedev Singh of the 10th Standard, Khushboo Bhatiya 12th standard grabbed the Deepawali Queen title.

Though the winners went home with an additional reason to smile, each kid made the most of the morning!!!
