The traditional festival of Hariyali Amavas was celebrated in Central Public School today. The aim of the program was to inculcate in the students a responsibility towards the environment and to stick to the cultural values of our city.
And for this reasons all the students and teachers of the school were seen wearing green dresses. A small fair was also organized in the school campus with all fun and food presenting the importance of this cultural festival of
Mewar. Deepak Sharma said -“We celebrate
Hariyali Amavas every year in our school; our aim is to make aware our students about the rich culture and tradition of our land which plays vital role in their social upbringing, in a way similar to what education does.”
The program was inaugurated by Neelima Sukhadia -President of District Congress; Alka Sharma founder of
CPS was also present in the program. The fun filled fair was enjoyed by students with camel ride, mini amusement parks, joy rides, snacks and lots of games.
