Nagar Parishad, which was struggling to attract crowd during the first few days of the ‘ Mela‘, would be quite satisfied today as the people turned out in large numbers to see the TV Channel Star One Fame, winners of the 3 ^rd Season of Indian Laughter Challenge Kapil Sharma and Bharti Singh.

The Council’s premises were occupied by the audience long even before the start of the Laughter Night sponsored by Vedanta Group’s ‘Hindustan Zinc’.

Mimicry and singing performance of Kapil Sharma was appreciated a lot by the audience. When Bharti came up on the stage with her dancing partner Savio on the song ‘ Chammak Challo‘, it compelled the crowd to hoot and whistle. The performance was enjoyed a lot by the audience.

Bharti, after the performance, targeted Rajni Dangi in good humor and compared her to well known Bollywood actress, Rekha. She showed no mercy on the Commissioner, Deputy Director and the Deputy Chairperson, Satya Narayan Acharya, Dinesh Kothari and Mahendra Singh Shekhawat respectively and made them laugh upon the question, “Why they are not sitting with their wives?”.

“Lalli” as popularly known amongst her friends Bharti told, “I never knew that my acts of copying and making fun, and also my comments that made my friends laugh in my childhood, could give me such a huge popularity”.

Other than Bharti and Kapil, Shampi Singh also gave his musical performance.

Continuing with the mela, as informed by K.K. Kumawat, spokesperson Cultural Committee Municipal Council, tomorrow will be Star Musical Night of Varsha Kulkarni.
