Saheliyon ki Badi will have cultural programmes similar to that of Bagore ki Haveli.  This step is being taken to attract customers and even enable them to spend more time in the garden while enjoying Rajasthani art and culture.

Cultural programmes will take place on the first floor just above the art gallery in Saheliyon ki Badi. This innovative decision was taken in a meeting presided by Collector Bishnu Charan Mallick. The garden has historical fountains and beautiful plantations in gardens which have been the only attraction for years. To attract tourists, art gallery was constructed which attracted a budget of 78 lakh rupees. Running and maintaining Art and Culture gallery is the responsibility of SIERT.

Every year more than 7 lakh tourists visit this beautiful garden. During Diwali festival, around 3000 tourists visit Saheliyon ki Badi per day. With the commencement of cultural evening, the numbers are very likely to rise.

Entry tickets for the garden were also a point of discussion in the meeting. It was discussed to increase ticket rates @ 20 rupees for Indian tourists and 100 rupees for foreign tourists. School and College group ticket rates are @5 rupees per person. The change in ticket rates is yet to be finalised.

Dinesh Kothari Director of SIERT, CM Mathur SE PWD, Senior Horticulture Superintendent Ganpat Lal Meena, Satish Shrimali Senior Town Planner Udaipur Zone, UIT XEN Mukesh Jani and Municipal Corporation XEN Manish Arora were present in the meeting.
