Cycle Rally at Fateh Sagar on National Voters' Day
'Sunday on a Cycle' rally was organised in Udaipur to mark National Voters’ Day on January 25, promoting voter awareness and youth participation in democracy
Udaipur, Jan 27 - On the occasion of National Voters' Day, a "Sunday on a Cycle" programme was held on Fateh Sagar in Udaipur on January 25. A bicycle rally was held on the lake embankment with approximately 100 participants.
The event was organised with the support of trainee athletes and students of the Sports Authority of India (SAI), under the aegis of Mera Yuva Bharat (My India), the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India.
The programme's objective was to connect youth with the democratic process through the message "My India, My Vote," and to raise awareness of the importance of voting, especially among first-time voters. By linking voter awareness with physical fitness and community participation, this initiative was an effort to foster a sense of responsible citizenship among youth.
