Earth Hour, an initiative of World Wide Federation (WWF) was well received in the city like every year.

Many business institutes, offices, industries and households were seen observing the social cause. The time of 8:30PM to 9:30PM was scheduled for this year’s Earth Hour, where people switched off lights to partake in the initiative.

More than 35 Schools, Colleges, government offices, restaurants in the city switched off lights in support of Earth Hour.

Ramada Udaipur Resort & Spa participated in the Earth Hour in a unique manner, where the In House guests of the hotel were invited at the Pool Side to celebrate the Earth Hour 2015.

Guests enjoyed the beautiful candle-lit ambiance at the beautiful pool-side venue while sipping on to healthy mocktails and starters .The menu emphasized in the need to conserve nature by using locally & organically grown ingredients.

As informed by Arun Soni, Officer-In-Charge, WWF-India, Udaipur Division, a rally was also organized on FatehSagar Pal at 7PM yesterday to light a candle and sky lantern in support of Earth Hour.
