Natyansh Society of Dramatic & Performing Arts performed the play ‘Darogaji! Chori Ho Gayi’ at the Ganeshotsav organized at Maharashtra Bhawan. This comedy play depicted the story of youth who can go to any extreme to fulfill their desires and wishes; keeping aside the difference of right and wrong.
The story revolves around Deepak, an engineering student who along with his senior indulges in chain snatching and theft to fulfill all kinds of wishes of his girlfriend. What follow thereafter is confusion, police interrogation and lessons learnt through comic scenes and satirical dialogues.
The play was written by Jaivardhan and directed by Ashfaq Noor Khan Pathan. The actors involved were Abdul Mubin (Babu Sharma), Mohammad Rizwan Mansuri (Amar), Shlok Pimplakar (Deepak), Mahendra Dangi (Darogaji) and Rekha Sisodia (Pooja).
The music was handled by Akhil Kumar Nayar, costume by Priyangi Kapur and Rekha Sisodia and makeup by Yogita Sisodia. The play was coordinated with the help of Arun Jain, Amit Srimali, Ayush Maheshwari, Siddhant Lakhan, Shivansh Gautam and Rahul Ahkari.
