Dist Collector visits Farm Fair
Making use of the latest technologies including rich seeds on traditional crop growing methods, a Farm Fair was organized on 28th March at Padrada Village of Sarada Tehsil where farmers from the tribal community have showcased their accomplishment by showcasing high quality fruits and vegetables.
Making use of the latest technologies including rich seeds on traditional crop growing methods, a Farm Fair was organized on 28th March at Padrada Village of Sarada Tehsil where farmers from the tribal community have showcased their accomplishment by showcasing high quality fruits and vegetables.
The fair was organized by Gayatri Seva Sansthan, a local NGO working dedicatedly on various development schemes and projects, majorly in the tribal areas of Udaipur region.
District Collector, Hemant Gera also paid a visit on this occasion and congratulated the farmers and assured soon to be introduced beneficial schemes.
Heading the program, Satyadev Singh, Chief Director of Agriculture, Udaipur, educated farmers on more such schemes run by the department and encouraged using these schemes to augment rich cultivation in the Mewar region.
Laxminarayan Pandya, Founder and Director of Gayatri Seva Sansthan expressed his gratitude to all the guests and said that their organization is not only working on agriculture but on complete upliftment of the tribal community of the area and trying to develop a model village like Padrada.
At the end of the program, all farmers were honored by District Collector, Hemant Gera.
