There was a surprise for everyone at Aravali Hospital where the doctors were provided the medical checkups instead of the patients. Around 25 doctors were patients for the day. It was a unique way of thanking the doctors for all they do for the society. Free medical checkups were also conducted for all the other patients.
“This was the first time that Aravali Hospital is raising the awareness for doctors who while at the same time treating the patients will also be able to take a good care of their health,” said Dr Deepak Shah.
The Rotary Meena Club also honoured 3 special doctors of GBH American hospital in their respective fields by awarding them the young Achievers Award.’
These doctors are Dr. Chirayu Pamecha (Spine Surgeon), Dr. Harit Bhandari (Pediatrician) and Dr.Shilpa Goyal (Gynecologist). The club honoured 15 other doctors of the club as well.
The biggest event of the day was the ceremony held for the prominent doctor, Dr. R.K Agarwal by the Udaipur Citizen Forum. The ceremony was held at Vigyan Samithi, Ashok Nagar. Dr. R.K Agarwal has been a prominent figure in the society. He is one of the best surgeons in India and has always taken up social causes making him a widely revered figure in the society. The Udaipur Citizen has been honouring the elite citizens such as Dr. Agarwal since 1979.
