Dr. Vartika Jain, secretory of Society for Microvita Research and Integrated Medicine has been awarded fellowship for her outstanding research work. The fellowship is given by Society of Ethnobotanist, Lucknow. She completed her research in span of 10 years of hard work in public botany.

She also studied various aspects of botany like medical benefits of various plants. She has done deep research in semal tree extinction. Dr. Vartika has been awarded with ‘Young Scientist Award’ in 2010 and has got more than 45 publications published in various national and international magazines. She completed her research work under the guidance of famous ethnobotanist Prof S.S.Katewa from Mohan Lal Sukhadia. Currently Dr. Vartika is employed as lecturer of botany in Meera girls’ college.
