Education that considers everyone Complete: Mishra
This was stated by eminent Gandhian Anupam Mishra, also an author, journalist, environmentalist and water conservationist who conducted a workshop on education and society at Vidya Bhawan.
“Today’s youth, kids and their parents are circling around 99. Achieving 99% has become the parameter of success. It has been considered that those with less than 99% are under-achievers which is a sad plight. Education is in fact, that which makes one simple and complete.”
This was stated by eminent Gandhian Anupam Mishra, also an author, journalist, environmentalist and water conservationist who conducted a workshop on education and society at Vidya Bhawan.
The workshop was organized by Dr. Mohan Singh Mehta Memorial Trust, Jheel Sanrakshan Samiti, Shikshantar, P.N Choyal Art Trust and Techno NJR Institute of Technology.
Mishra elaborated the connection between rule, society and education in an articulate way while suggesting that the educational institutes should be centers of creation and dispersal of teaching methodology that links with nature, water, organisms and flora around us.
Anupam emphasized that the modern day education is more like a responsibility for both students as well as their parents due to which instances of depression and suicides are rising. He added that the society should take the onus of offering pure education to enable improvement in the center operated education system.
Mishra will present a seminar on Rule, Society and Environment today at 5.30 PM at Vidya Bhawan.
