Department of Women Studies of JRN Rajasthan Vidyapeeth University organized a 3-day Mother’s Daughter Campaign at Sakroda which was attended by chief guest Prof Sharma from Delhi University.

During the campaign meet, he addressed the gathering saying that it is imperative for rural women to be educated for over-all development of them. Although the condition of women in modernized India has grown, yet women are unaware of their rights.

The campaign was presided over by vice chancellor Prof S.S Sarangdevot made women take oath to fight against social practices such as female feticide, child marriage, dowry and promote environment conservation and education to girl child.
