Eid ul fitr Celebrated Passionately

Today, hundreds and thousands of Muslims stand tranquil in mass prayer of Eid performed at the biggest mosque of the city, Paltan Masjid to mark the festival of Eid ul fitr. After the prayer the celebration started with the exchange of wishes ‘Eid Mubarak’. All rejoiced the blessed day by remembering the bounties of God Almighty. Eid is one of the biggest Islamic Festival. Muslim areas and mosques of Udaipur were decorated with lights on the eve of Eid and the enthusiasm was also growing and it reached its edge by early morning before sunrise when Muslims gathered to offer ‘Khutba’ ( Eid prayer). The most excited were the kids as they receive special presents and gifts in the form of ‘Eidi’ on the day. Friends, relatives and well wishers wished in traditional way by embracing each other. However, series of Eid SMS have already started reaching the inbox even a day before the festival. Muslim colonies of Udaipur had witnessed series of activities the whole day while in the evening people were seen celebrating the festival by enjoying serenity of overflowing Lakes of Udaipur.
