English Language Fellow Program for teachers concludes at BN PG College

42 Participants benefited from the five day workshop regarding English Language Fellow (ELF) Program conducted at Kumbha Auditorium of Bhupal Nobles Post Graduate College during 22-26 April 2013 by the office of Directorate, College Education Rajasthan Jaipur in collaboration with US Embassy for government college lecturers of Udaipur zone.

42 Participants benefited from the five day workshop regarding English Language Fellow (ELF) Program conducted at Kumbha Auditorium of Bhupal Nobles Post Graduate College during 22-26 April 2013 by the office of Directorate, College Education Rajasthan Jaipur in collaboration with US Embassy for government college lecturers of Udaipur zone.

The aim of the course was to teach trainees how to engage learners with the total participation techniques while teaching language through literature and to prepare lesson-plans for various phases such as pre-reading, during-reading and post-reading of the poetry, drama or novel or short fiction.

The program was coordinated by the English Deptt. Head Dr. Jayshree Singh, while the course coordinator was Dr. Shaila Mahan. The training was delivered by the Senior English language Fellow Connie Greenleaf and the other six master Trainers of Rajasthan state namely Dr. Anshu, Dr. Sonu Shiva, Dr. Shive, Dr. Asha Sundram, Dr. K.S. Kang and Dr. Rekha Ranawat.

The Principal of the College Dr. V. S. Shaktawat, The Managing Director of Bhupal Nobles Sansthan Dr. Niranjan Narayan Singh highly commended the ELF program and provided all support for the success of the workshop.
