The event on International Biodiversity Day was organized at Amberi Biodiversity Park, Udaipur District today. Students from various schools, Wildlife enthusiasts and officials from Forest Department attended the event.

The attendees were taken for a walk in the forest where they were introduced with interesting facts related to various trees, plants, animals amongst other things. Students showed zeal and excitedly took part in the drive.

Indrapal Singh Matharu, Forest Warden was leading the event and he also spoke about individual’s taking responsibility to save forests, as in turn they save us. Dr. Sathish Sharma, Asst. Forest Warden explained the importance of wildlife and greenery and the need to be conscious of our responsibility towards them.

A painting and quiz was also organized as part of the event.
