Eventful International Wetland Day Celebrations conclude

3-day International Wetland Day Celebrations, organized by Wildlife Wing, Forest Department, Udaipur, in collaboration with Indian Environment Society Delhi and WWF India concluded today with several programs being organized during the whole day.

3-day International Wetland Day Celebrations, organized by Wildlife Wing, Forest Department, Udaipur, in collaboration with Indian Environment Society Delhi and WWF India concluded today with several programs being organized during the whole day.

Nature loving denizens participated enthusiastically in the Cyclothon today which was which took shape of a jungle safari near the banks of lake Pichhola. Faces from every age group could be seen participating in the nature photography competition which was the part of Cyclothon.

Thereafter, Spot Painting and Quiz Competitions were organized at Kalkamata Nursery which is located 3km from Doodh Talai.

Yesterday, ‘Ek Shaam Jheelo ke Naam’ was organized under which Nukkad Natak, Paryavaran Kavi Sammelan and Exhibition were organized at Fateh sagar, near overflow point.

A plantation drive was also initiated yesterday which was led by Rajni Dangi, Chairperson, UMC and Dr. N. C. Jain, Chief Forest Conservator.

In the end, results of various programs and competitions were declared.
