Evergreen band rocks Panache Day 2

The Panache '12 Day 2 concluded with a progressively enchanting musical night lined up with back to back programs, the Rock Concert by Evergreen Band and Woodstock: War of Bands. The day commenced with the Sir Padampat Singhania Memorial Speech Competition in which 10 contestants spoke on, 'What is the role of the surroundings in Personality Development'.

The Panache ’12 Day 2 concluded with a progressively enchanting musical night lined up with back to back programs, the Rock Concert by Evergreen Band and Woodstock: War of Bands.

The day commenced with the Sir Padampat Singhania Memorial Speech Competition in which 10 contestants spoke on, ‘What is the role of the surroundings in Personality Development‘.

Two conferences, which were running simultaneously to the Speech Competition were titled, ‘Management Conference on Labour Sector Reforms’ and ‘Conference on Cloud and Mobile Computing’.

The day progressed with Prop Opp, a Parliamentary Debate Competition, the judges for which were Mr. Ashok Ghosh and Ms. Rinu Ghosh.

Evening time and the students were in the mood for the much awaited Rock Concert by Evergreen Band.  The melodious hard rock band, composed by Sam Karen on Keys, Arun M S on Bass, Jagan George on Vocals, Sunil Silvester on Guitar and Arun Roop on Drums, as expected, dazzled everyone with their impressive performances.

High on adrenaline, the mood turned competitive for the War of Bands, judged appropriately by Sam, Arun and Sunil from the Evergreen Band.

Woodstock opened with the band, Devine Legacy from Udaipur.  Band Members, Lawrence Joseph on Vocals, Paawan Surana with the Rhythm, Denny Thomas on the Synthesizer, Prateek Parihar, the lead and Himanshu Vyas on the Bass.

The second participating band was the Death Metal band and Winter Gate from Jaipur.  The Band members, Devashish Dutt on Guitars and Vocals; Sudeep on Drums and Luke, the Band Manager and Sound Coordinator.

The third band, also a metal band, was Segments, from Jaipur.  Band Members were Vishal Agarwal on Guitar, Kanishk Vijay Mahendra on Guitar, Mohammed Shahnawaz Mansoori on Bass and Vocals; Anirudh Singh on Vocals and Gurpreet Sohal on Drums.

The fourth band was Rudraksh band from Jaipur, consisting of Band Members,  Sachin Sharma on vocals; Neeraj Joshi on Drums; Deepak Jef on Rhythm Guitar; Ankit Yadav on Bass and Viraj Ravjani, the Lead Guitarist.

Rudraksh was declared the winner of Woodstock and they won a cash prize of Rs 10000 and also the opportunity to open the Parikrama Rock Concert on Day 3, Jan 13th.

Segments was declared the runner-up and took away a cash prize of Rs. 7,500.
