Farewell offered to the Hajj Pilgrims of Dawoodi Bohra Youth Community
Alike every year, ahead of the upcoming Hajj pilgrimage, Dawoodi Bohra Youth Community offered heartwarming farewell to all the 45 pilgrims of the community.
Alike every year, ahead of the upcoming Hajj pilgrimage, Dawoodi Bohra Youth Community offered heartwarming farewell to all the 45 pilgrims of the community. The farewell program included, a Majlis in Wazirpura Masjid, followed by community procession and concluded with afternoon prayers in Rasulpura Masjid.
Mulla Peer Ali of the community initiated the Majlis with recitations from the Quran. Hatim Ali and Saifudding Bhattawala presented Naat and mesmerized the attendees. Community Secretary Yusuf Ali addressed the pilgrims and other attendees wished for health and ease of pilgrims.
Thereafter, a community procession was carried out from Wazirpura Masjid to the Rasulpura Masjid. The procession was attended by hundreds of community members. At Rasulpura Masjid, the program ended with afternoon prayers.
The groups of pilgrims include 17 men and 28 women, of which a total of 11 pilgrims are proceeding on Hajj under the government quota, while the rest are scheduled to perform Hajj through private tour operators.
