Annual Functions in various branches of MLSU have already started and in the sequence, ‘Jhankar 2012’, festival in College of Social Science and Humanities and ‘Vanijyam’ in Commerce College also began today.

‘Jhankar’ 2012 was announced by President of student union Dinesh Bhoi where SP Hariprasad Sharma, VC I V Trivedi, Dean Sharad Shriwastav and ADSW Girdhari Singh Kumpawat were invited as the chief guests for the inauguration ceremony.

On the first day of ‘Jhankar’, Rangoli, Mehandi, Drawing, Extempore, Quiz, Food Fest, Poem, College Life Photography competitions and a group discussion on the topic FDI were conducted.

Commerce College’s festival, ‘Vanijyam’, started with lighting of candles by the dignitaries which included Congress MLA Sajjan Katara, Congress City President Neelima Sukhadiya, Professor Vijay Shrimali and Student Union President Jitendra Singh Shaktawat.

On the eventful day, mehandi, rangoli, poster making, face painting and spot painting competition were organized in the Commerce College.
