Festivals give message of brotherhood: Kataria

Eid Milan Samaroh was organized today by Dawoodi Bohra Welfare Society and Bohra Youth at Community Hall in Bohrawadi.

Gulab Chand Kataria, MLA and former Home Minister, was the Chief Guest whereas the occasion was presided over by Nilima Sukhadia, the President of Udaipur Congress.

Festivals give message of brotherhood: Kataria Besides these various politicians including Prof. Madhusudan Sharma, Former MLA Trilok Purbia, Prof. Vimal Sharma, Father Subhash Anand and the president of Muslim Mahasabha – Mohamad Baksh graced the occasion as guests of honour. Festivals give message of brotherhood: Kataria Dawoodi Bohra Welfare Society spokesman, Anees Miyaji told that the programme started with welcome of the guests by Dr. Zainab Banu, the president of Bohra Youth which was followed by patriotic songs by students of Bohra Youth Public School, Khanjipir. In his speech Kataria said, “Festivals give message of brotherhood. It is unique in India that people of all sects and religions celebrate all the festivals together without any discrimination.” Mrs. Sukhadia conveyed her best wishes and said that the festivals develop feelings of brotherhood and fraternity. The guests of honour also addressed the gathering and expressed their best wishes on the occasion of Eid. The programme was conducted by Nasir Javed and vote of thanks was extended by Hussain Udaipuri, Secretary of Daudi Bohra Welfare Society. All relished Sheer khorma after the formal function was over.
