The First Shri Nandlal Pandiyar Memorial State FIDE Rated Open Chess Competition will be organized on 21^st June at Bhandari Darshak Mandap, Chetak Circle.

Chess in Lakecity’s President Rajiv Bhardwaj informed that the top 3 winners will receive cash prize of Rs. 11,000, Rs. 8000 and Rs. 6000 respectively and the top 10 winners of different categories will receive prizes too.

This is a competition for both rated and unrated players and an opportunity for unrated players to gain FIDE rating. Secretary Vikas Sahu informed that the chief judge would be internationally acclaimed Prem Pandit. Other nationally acclaimed players such as Sonakshi Rathore, Kantilal Dave, Rajendra Teli and Arpit Saxena will be present.

The interested participants can register at Mahaveer Chessmen School, situated at Lakhara Chowk from 9 AM to 12 PM.
