Forest department will organise a one-day Nature Literature Festival during the 3-day bird festival to be organised in Udaipur from 18-20 January. This is the first time that a Nature Literature Festival will be organised in Udaipur.

Chief Forest Conservator Rahul Bhatnagar informed that the Nature Literature Festival is being organised along the lines of Jaipur Literature Festival. The festival will host writers who have written books on wildlife, birds, their variety and conservation.

The inauguration of the festival will be held at Golden Park situated at Sisarma. Nature Festival will be held on 18-Jan and will start at 2pm and will go on till late evening.

Speakers during the Nature Literature Festival will include Dr Arshad Rehmani, Vikram Veerwal, Arifa Tehsin, Raza Tehsin, Dr Satish Sharma and Ravi Singh from WWF.
