For 10 days from 25^th December onwards, Udaipurites can enjoy the beauty of flowers at Fatehsagar pal. The entire promenade will provide a feeling of freshness to the public of Udaipur and tourists as well. Until 3^rd January, treat your senses with various colourful flowers and carry home some of the beauty with you.

Administration and UIT have started making arrangements for the flower show 2017. UIT Chairman Ravindra Shrimali said that UIT and Municipal Corporation will display various species of flowers in these 10 days. Private firms and hotels have been invited to make this show even more appealing to public. All those who have participated in flower show in the past are being contacted for their contribution this year, too.

Many people have developed beautiful plant gallery at their homes. These people can also be a part of the flower show and display their plants. To make the people aware of the importance of environment conservation, it has been decided to give away plants free of cost like every year.

The first flower show was organised in February 2014 at Fatehsagar pal. This was a three-day event and was appreciated by public. Plant lovers had enthusiastically participated in this show. Assessing the interest of public, it was then decided to organise flower show every year in the month of December. Since December is the time of winter vacations, more and more people can enjoy the flower show.

In 2014 itself another flower show was held in December which was for 10 days. Following years in 2015 and 2016, public enjoyed the 10 day flower show in the month of December. This year again, the flower show is expected to attract more crowds since tourism is at its peak in December. Fatehsagar pal smells good with a variety of flowers…some of which are a delight to eyes and arouse curiosity.
